The University of Delhi has officially released the schedule for the DU UG Admissions 2023 special spot round. This schedule is now available for candidates to view on the official Delhi University website at du.ac.in.
Breakdown of DU UG Admissions 2023: Special spot round
- Display of Vacant Seats: On September 18, 2023, the vacant seats for the special spot round will be made available for candidates to see.
- Registration Period: From September 18 to September 20, 2023, candidates can register themselves for the special spot admission round.
- Special Spot Allocation Announcement: On September 21, 2023, the university will declare the allocation of seats for the special spot round.
- Acceptance of Allocated Seats: Candidates have the opportunity to accept the seats allocated to them from September 21 to September 22, 2023.
- College Verification and Approval: Colleges will verify and approve online applications from September 21 to September 23, 2023.
- Last date for Admission Fees: The last date to make the payment for admission fees is September 24, 2023.
It’s important to note that this special spot admission round is open to candidates who applied for CSAS-2023 but were not admitted to any college when the initial admission results were declared. Additionally, candidates who were allocated seats in Spot Round – I/II can also participate in this round.
It is mandatory for candidates to accept the seats allocated to them during the special spot admission round. Failing to do so will result in the forfeiture of their eligibility for admission to the University of Delhi.
